Firstly, we find area of rectangle.

Area of rectangle = l x b

= 40 x 24 m

= 960 m²

Now, we find area of circle.

Area of circle = ¶r²

=22/7 x 14 x 14 m

= 616 m²

Area of grazed by horse = 960 m²- 616 m²

= 344 m²

I hope you like it.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the horse will graze the area as an arc up to the two sides of the rectangular field

the angle is 90 degrees

so the area is a part of a circle of the radius 14 cm

therefore

(90/360)pi.r^2

(1/4).22/7.14^2

196×22/7×4

28×22/4

7×22

154m²

gaurav220498: right
