A horse is tied with a rope in the centre of a square field of side 30m . if the length of the rope is 14m . find the area of the field where horse cannot graze?​

Answer:

area where horse can't graze = area of square - area it can graze

area of square = 30×30m = 900 m^2

area horse can graze = 22/ 7 × 14 × 14 = 616 m^2

area hrse cannot graze = 900 - 616 m2 = 284 m^2

Explanation:-

Side of square = 30m

Area of square = sidexside

•°• area of square => 30x30 = 900m²

Length of rope = 14m

•°• radius = 14m

Area of circle = πr²

•°•area of circle => πx14x14

=>616m²

Area of ungrazed land = Area of square-Area of circle

=>900-616 = 284m²

Hence, ungrazed land = 284
