a horse of mass 210 kg and a dog of mass 25 kg are running at the same speed which of the two processes more kinetic energy and how

Heya user ,
Here is your answer !!
Let the speed of both the animals be x km/hr .
Mass of the horse = 210 kg.
Mass of the dog = 25 kg.
Now , kinetic energy of the horse
k = 1/2.m.v²
= 1/2 . 210 .x²
= 105x².
Now , kinetic energy of the dog
k = 1/2.m.v²
= 1/2 . 25 .x²
= 12.5x².
clearly , 105x² > 12.5x² .
So, kinetic energy of the horse is greater than kinetic energy of the dog .
Hope it helps !!
