Answer:

  • 1000 watt is the required answer .

Explanation:

Given:-

  • Force ,F = 400 N

  • Angle ,∅ = 60°

  • Velocity ,v = 18km/h = 18×5/18 = 5m/s

To Find:-

  • Power of Horse ,P

Solution :-

As we have to calculate the Power of the horse . As we know that Power is defined as the rate of doing work .

P = F cos∅ × v

  • P denote Power
  • F denote Force
  • ∅ denote angle
  • v denote velocity

Substitute the value of we get

→ P = 400 × Cos60° × 5

As Cos60° = 1/2

→ P = 400×1/2 × 5

→ P = 200×5

→ P = 1000 Watt .

  • Hence, the power of the horse is 1000 watt.

Given :-

Force applied = 400 N

Angle = 60⁰

Velocity = 18 × 5/18 ,= 5 m/s

To Find :-

Power

Solution :-

As we know that

\bf P = F \cos \theta \times v

W is the Work

F is the force

cos∅ is the ½

V is the velocity

\sf P = 400 \times \frac{1}{2} \times 5

\sf P = 200 \times 1 \times 5

\sf P = 200 \times 5

\huge \mathfrak{P = 1000 \: Watt}

Hence :-

Power of horse is 1000 Watt
