A hot plate of an electric oven connected to 220 v line has 2 resistance could a and b each of 24 ohm resistance which may be used separately in series and in parallels what are the current in the 3 cases

1) One resistance:
    I = 220/24  ≈ 9 A

2) Serial communication:
    I = 220/(24+24) = 220/48  ≈ 4,5 A

3) Parallel connection:
    I = 220/(24/2) = 220/12  ≈ 18 A
