it's position after 1 min 10 sec=(1×10=10)will be:

so now,

Answer:  A lift moves at the rate of 3/10 m/s

If the lift starts coming down at the height of 30m

                Its actual position- 3/10 * 70

                                                = 21 m/s

Final Position- Initial Position (This is the formula)

                21-30

                = -9

Ans- It would be 9 m below the sea level
