Answer:

Solution :-

5 leaps of the hare = 4 Leaps of the hound

Every 6 leaps of the hare, the hound takes 5 leaps.

So, speed of the hare = 6/5

Speed of hound = 5/4

Ratio of speeds of hound and hare = 5/4 : 6/5

= (5/4)/(6/5)

= (5/4)*(5/6)

= 25/24

Ratio of speeds of hound and hare = 25 : 24
