Hey mate!

Here is your answer:

let the width of the rectangular field be x m, then length will be (x+6)m

Now, perimeter of the field=2(length +width)

also, given that perimeter =60m

Thus, 60=2[(x+6)+x]

60/2=(x+6+x)

30=2x+6

30-6=2x

24=2x

24/2=x

12=x

Hence, width of the field is 12m and length is x+6 i.e 12+6=18m

Hope it helped ^_^

Perimeter of triangle is 2[l+b]=60

By solving it the length is 24 metre

Area of triangle is (l×b)=24*6=144m^2

dhanashri69: thanks bt that is rectangle not triangle
