The maximum number of 60W lamps in parallel that can be turned on are 33.

Explanation:

Lamps= 60W

Voltage=220V

Fuse= 9A

If lamp is parallel its voltage is same

Power =VI

I=60/220A

Amount of current required in single lamp= .27 A

Assume n number of lamp is required

                                                   So, nI= 9A

                                                         n =9/,27

                                                          n= 33
