Let the sold amount be( x)

Given amount =20000 at 3%

Remaining amount will

be=(x-20000) at 1 %

Total commission=950

Now, According to the question, we get

===3%of 20000+1%of(x-20000)=950

===3/100×20000+(x-20000)/100=950

===600+(x-20000)/100=950

===(x-20000)/100=950-600

===(x-20000)=350×100

===(x-20000)=35000

===x=35000+2000

Therefore X=55000
