1st = a
2nd = b
3rd = c
4th = d
Given
a + b + c + d = 23 --------------(1)
b + c = 10 ------------------------(2)
Substitute the value of (2) in (1)
=> a + 10 + d = 23
=> a + d = 13 -------------------(3)
Given
d = b + 1 -------------------------(4)
Substitute (4) in (3)
=> a + b + 1 = 13
=> a + b = 12 -------------------(5)
Given b = 2a ['a is half of b' can be written as b is twice of a]
Substitute value of a in (5)
=> a + 2a = 12
=> 3a = 12
=> a = 4
b = 2a = 2(4) = 8
Substitute value of b in (2)
=> 8 + c = 10
=> c = 2
Substitute values of a, b and c in (1)
=> 4 + 8 + 2 + d = 23
=> 14 +d = 23
=> d = 9
Therefore the ATM PIN is 4829
