Answer:

The water in the tank can last for 3080 days

Total number of people in the housing society = 500

Volume of water needed by a person per day = 20 L

Radius of the water tank = r = 28/2 = 14

Height of the tank = h = 50m

volume of the tank = (TITA r²h)

= 2/7×14×14×50

= 30800m³

= 30800000

Number of days for which the water in the tank will last = volume of tank/ (water used by a person per day x total number of people)

= 30800000 / 20×50

= 3080.
