a housing society used to collect rainwater from the roof of its building 22m x 20m to a cylindrical vessel having diameter of base 2m and height 3.5m and then pump this water into the main water tank so that all members can use it. On a particular day the rain water collected from the roof just filled the cylindrical vessel. Then find the rainfall in cm. Please i need the answer immediately.

vol. of rain water on roof = vol. of water in cylinder

lbh =πr^2h

22*20*h= 22/7*1*1**3.5

h= 22*0.5/22*20

h=0.025m =2.5cm
