a}When baking soda is heated it forms carbon dioxide .hence it makes the cake spongy by creating air spaces.
b}raw materials;-NaCl,Water,carbon dioxide ,amonia.
C} NaCl+H2O+CO2 +NH3=NH4Cl+NaHCO3
This NaHCO3 is sodium hydrogen carbonate or in general baking soda.
