Answer:

(a) The microbes simply eat up contaminants such as oil and organic matter (e.g., waste food), convert them and then let off carbon dioxide and water. The process uses naturally occurring bacteria, fungi or plants to degrade substances that are hazardous to human health or the environment.

(B) They increase soil fertility by incorporating air, minerals and nitrogenous compounds. They contribute in increasing plant growth by providing essential elements, minerals that plants cannot utilize by their Owen. Microorganisms decompose organic matter to simpler form that can be easily uptake by plants.

A) Microorganisms are called cleaning agents of nature. collect waste of plants, vegetables and fruits from your nearby surroundings. Put them in a pit meat for waste disposal. After some time, it decomposed and get converted to manure by the action of Microorganisms. In this way, the waste products are converted into useful manure by the action of microbes. This is how, Microorganisms help in cleaning of environment.

B) The organic waste like vegetables peels and remains of animals are broken down into harmless and usable substances by the action of Microorganisms. In agriculture, they are used to increase soil fertility by fixing nitrogen and by making manure.
