we can insert a new row in a worksheet by selecting the row after which we want to insert another row and doing right click for the mouse and clicking on insert. For deleting the rows you can select the particular row and then right click on that pro and click on delete option

1) select the rows to be deleted
2) click delete option available in ribbon under home menu
3)select delete sheet rows from the drop down list.
