it's very simple if u understand the concept of DNA model and gene coding....
- a base triplet represent a particular protein..
suppose GGT code for protein P in a DNA sequence ATU GGT CCU and if a single base is added in this sequence such as AT'C'UGGTCC then it is read as ATC UGG TCC. Now u can see the difference in the base triplet hence different aminoacids join and a different protein is formed..
