But if we use this definition in an unthinking manner, we would end up calling almost every government that holds an election a democracy .

Answer:

(a) The diffrence is that Monarchy is ruled by a king the people do not have the power to elect. In democracy, the people get to elect their ruler.

(b) The most common conflict happens when people of two diffrent beleifs fight. This is a conflict that can spark a huge rebellion.

(c) the group of people with the authority to govern a country or state; a particular ministry in office.

The above statement means that a goverment is a group of people chosen by the people for the welfare of the country. We need a government because we need somebody to control the decisions and make rules

Hope it helped!
