Brain is protected from shock and injury due to Cerebrospinal Fluid( it's generally present in between skull or cranium). It absorbs all the injuries and shocks. Skull protects the brain from shock and injury. Pons & Cerebellum are the two important parts of the hindbrain. The Pons helps in regulating the breathing rate and is responsible for proper precise and accurate movements of the body parts. The function of cerebellum is to control all the involuntary actions of the body.
