To Find :  A. How many kilowatt-hours of electricity were used during march?

b. if the cost of electricity is P5.50 per kWh, How much did the electricity cost for march?

Solution:

March 1 :  26010

March 31 : 36165.5

Consumption =  36165.5 - 26010

= 10,155.5 kWh

kilowatt-hours of electricty were used during march  = 10,155.5 kWH  

cost of electricity = 5.5 * 10,155.5   = 55,855.25

electricity cost for march  = 55,855.25   P

There are 31 days in March

Average cost per day =  55,855.25 /31  = 1,801.8  P
