Answer:

Given:

Acceleration            = 16 cm/s²

Mass of the body     =250 g

Solution:

a =  16 cm/s²

 = (16/100) m/s²

m= (250/1000) m/s²

f  = m×a

 = 250/1000 × 16/100

 = 8/200

 = 0.04 .

Answer:

We know,

Force= Mass × Acceleration

=250 g × 16 cm/s

=(250/1000) kg × (16/100)m/s2

= 0.25 kg × 0.16 m/s2

=0.04 N

Therefore ,0.04 N is needed to produce an acceleration of 16 cm/s2 in a body of mass 250 g.
