(c) Methanol is much more dangerous to drink than ethanol.The ingestion of very small amounts of methanol will lead to death. It is oxidized to methanal in the liver, which reacts and coagulates rapidly with protoplasm.  

Methanol is a toxic substance that could lead to permanent blindness of the eye and excess methanol intake leads to death.
