A humorous incident from any book

It was very dark at that night. I was walking down the street to my uncle's house. It was already very late and there was no sign of life on that street. I drew my jacket closer.The wind was whistling in the trees. I could hear the hooting of owls. I looked at the side of the street . I  saw a graveyard on the side of the street. I  stopped in my tracks suddenly remembering vampires and ghosts that my granny used to tell about. There was sudden movement among the bushes . I hesitantly  went near it. I saw two grey eyes staring out from the bushes. My hair stood up at the nape of my neck. I started to sweat. There was a piercing voice and suddenly the object jumped out of the bush.
" haah! ha ha ha!" i laughed. It was just a stray cat! Heavens! And what did i thought? A ghost. I chuckled the whole way to my uncle's house. I  narrated the incident to my relatives. They too had a good laugh
