x=100 y=40

angle acb and 120 are linear pair so angle is 60

80+60+y=180

y=40

and x+80=180

x=100

GIVEN:-

x = ?

ACY = 120

ACB = ?

ABC = Y = ?

SOLUTION:-

X + 80 = 180° .........linear pair

X = 180- 80

X = 100°

similarly,

ACB + ACY = 180 ........linear pair

C + 120 = 180.

C = 180-120

C = 60°

hence,

A + B + C = 180....angles of triengle

80 + Y + 60 = 180

Y + 140. = 180

Y = 180 - 140

Y = 40°
