 \huge \orange { \bf Solution :- }

Note :- Your respective answers are marked with green .

a. If a number is divisible by 2 and 3, then the number is divisible by  \bf \green {6}

  • \bf \blue {Reason} :- By the divisibility test of 6 we knows that if a no. is divisible by both 2 , 3 it is also divisible by 6

b. If the sum of the digits of a number can be divided by 3 , with no remainder, the number is divisible by 9  \bf \green {False}

  • \bf \blue {Reason} :- It is false , since 3 can be written as 03 and sums of digit is 3 , which is not divisible by 9

c. 1038 is divisible by 2, 3, and  \bf \green 6

  • \bf \blue {Reason} :- By the divisibility test of 6 we knows that if a no. is divisible by both 2 , 3 it is also divisible by 6

d. A number is divisible by 8 , if its last three digits are divisible by 8 or are zeroes  \bf \green {True}

  • \bf \blue {Reason} :- By divisibility test of 8 we knows that a no. is divisible by 8 if and only it's last three digits ( HTO ) are divisible by 8 or are zeroes .

e. 450 is divisible by 2, 3, 5,  \bf \green 6 ,  \bf \green 9 and  \bf \green {10}

  • \bf \blue {Reason} :- As it is divisible by 2 , 3 it is divisible by 6 and also the sums of all digits is divisible by 9 , so it is divisible by 9 and last digit is zero , so also divisible by 10 .
