a. In cell E5, enter a formula without using a function that subtracts the start date for the customer from the current date and divides the result by 365.25, the number of days in a year, accounting for leap year.

Note... this is done in excel (which I know how to work) but I don't understand formulas like these

Answer:

=(C2-E5)/365.25.

=($C$2-D5)/365.25

And then on the home page increase decimal place by one which should be in the numbers section

Answer in Cell E is 5.2

Explanation:

If your assignment was the same as mine it would be in the Cello Worldwide Capstone Project. The answer is to First click cell E5 which is the years slot. Put an equal(=) sign. Then click cell C2 was the current date of 5/28/2021 and it should be displayed as =C2 so far. Put a minus sign(-) and click D5 the Customer-Since slot, your customers current start date. The equation in E5 should then look like =C2-E5. To finish it off make it look like =(C2-E5)/365.25. If you put your cursor over C2 and press F4 it provides the absolute reference. The  final step was Display the value in cell E5 with one decimal place, which can be done by going to Home and at the label number above it should be increase decimal and decrease decimal. Increase by 1.
