rocks are combination of homgenous mixture are called minerals.
occurances of minerals:
1) in metomorpic rocks, minerals are occured in the cracks or crevices.the smaller occurances are called loses and larger ones are called veins.example; tin, zinc, copper.
2) in sedimentary rocks, minerals are occured in beds or layers. ex: gypsum
3)another mode of formation includes decomposition of surface rocks and leaving a residual mass of weathered material which contains ores. bauxite is formed from this way.
4) certain minerals occur as alluvial soils in sands of valley and the base of hills.these are called placer deposit.these are not easily corroded by water.exam gold, silver.
5)ocean contains vast quantity of minerals there widely diffused to economic significance.ex sodium salt.
--ferrous minerals:the ferrous minerals obtains about three-month of it total production in India.
these are backbone of the industrial development.
India exports substantial quantity of ferrous minerals after meeting their internal demands.
--iron ore: iron ores are classified into two types ; hematite and magnetite.it has iron content of 70% and it has excellent magnetic strength especially, valuable in electrical industry.hematite is finest iron ore in terms of quality and quantity used.
--manganese:
nearly 1 kg of manganese is required to make one tonne of steel.
manganese is used to making bleaching, paints
manganese is mainly used in the making of steel and ferrous manganese alloy.
100% pure answer it could survive even in board exams.make me brainliest.
