Let the age of
A be=x+10
B be=x
Sum of their ages=50
A.T.Q.
x+10+x=50
2x+10=50
2x=50-10
2x=40
x=40÷2
x=20.

Age of
A=x+10=20+10=30 years
B=x=20 years

A= 10 years old
so
A=B+10 or
A-B=10 ---------1
also
A+B=50 ---------2
by eliminating eq. 1 and 2
A - B = 10
A + B = 50
----------------
2A = 60
A = 30
----------------
put value of A in eq. 1
we get
30-10=B
so,
B=20

i hope it helps
