⇒age of A = (x+15)years

Before 10 years,

Age of B = (x-10)years

Age of A = (x+15-10)years =(x+5)years

age of B/age of A = 1/4

x-10/x+5 = 1/4

After cross multiplying,

4x-40 = x+5

3x = 45

x = 15 years

Age of A = x+15 = 15+15 = 30 years

Age of B = x = 15 years
