let present age of B=x years
then ,present age of A will be = ( x+24 ) years
10 years back age of B would be = ( x- 10 ) yrs
10 years back age of A = (x+24-10)years
ATQ
5 (x-10) = x+14
5x-50 = x+14
4x =64
x=64÷4
x=16
hence, present age of B = 16years
present age of A =16 + 24 =40 years
then ,present age of A will be = ( x+24 ) years
