A is 25% less than B while C is 20% more than D. If D is 25% less than A, what is the relation between the B and C?

There are 4 numbers A, B, C and D.

From the given, if B is 100 then A is 75, since it’s 25% less than B. Now since D is 25% less than A, it is 75% of 75, which is nothing but 56.25. Finally, C is 20% more than D (which is 56.25) and thus C is 67.5.

So, we have

A = 75

B = 100

C = 67.5 and

D = 56.25

Therefore, the relationship between B and C is,

C is 32.5% less than B or

B is 48.148148…% more than C.
