A is 50% more than B, C is 2/3 of A and D is 60%
more than C. Now, each of A, B, C and D is increased
by 10%. Find what per cent of B is D (after the
increase)?

Answer:

By above statement,

⇒ A = (3/2)B

Also,

⇒ C = (2/3)A

⇒ C = B

Now,

⇒ D = (8/5)C

⇒ D = (8/5)B

⇒ D = 160% of B

[Note: This value does not change if if all the values are incremented by the same percent value]

∴ D is 160% of B
