A is a metallic rod carrying an excess negative charge, B is positively charged wooden sphere. what will happen if we touch A with B?
Answers
Answer:
When sphere is positively charged , and metallic rod is negatively charged , when we touch A and B , electrons flow from rod to sphere and make it less positive
If we touch A with B,then the following things will happen -
• The A is negatively charged which means there are excess electrons than the neutral state,in the metallic rod which is producing the the negative charge of it. ( Electron is negatively charged particle)
• The B is positively charged which means there are less electrons than the neutral state,in the wooden sphere which is producing positive charge of it.
• So,if we touch A with B,the excessive electrons present in the A will flow to the B where the electron deficiency had already taken place. In this way, both A and B will become neutral after electron exchange.
