Hello Mate here is your answer,

Given here a = 8+60

Then question is,. a+1/a=?

Now solution is

a = 8 +  \sqrt{60}  \\ a +  \frac{1}{a}  \\ (8 +  \sqrt{60} ) +  \frac{1}{(8 +  \sqrt{60} )}  \\  \frac{(8 +  \sqrt{60})(8 +  \sqrt{60}  ) + 1}{8 +  \sqrt{60} }  \\  \frac{64 + 8 \sqrt{60 } + 8 \sqrt{60} + 60 + 1 } {8 +  \sqrt{60} }  \\ \frac{125 + 16 \sqrt{60} }{8 +  \sqrt{60} }

I hope that helps you,

A=8+√60

=8+7.74

=15.74

A+1 15.74+1 15.74+1

So,———=—————=—————

√A √15.74 3.96

=3.97+1[By cancelling 15.74 & 3.96]

=4.97

=4

Ans:4.
