Cold currents flow toward the equator on the eastern side of ocean basins. Examples of cold ocean currents include the Canary Current in the North Atlantic, the California Current in the North Pacific, and the Benguela Current in the South Atlantic.

Step-by-step explanation:

A is standing 5 m east & 4 m north of a point P, while B is standing 15m East & 24m north of P.

A walks at a speed of 1.4 m/s, while B walks at a speed of 2.1 m/s.

If A & B simultaneously start walking towards each other & finally meet at point Q, then find the distance PQ.

Answer is = (√41 + 4√5)m

Had A&B been in same line .. then through similar triangles .. the ratio 5:4 would have been equal to 15:24 .. but it is not ... Had B travelled 15m east and 12m north .. then they would have been collinear and the method followed by you would have been correct ..
