A take 24/3=8 then
A in one day take 1/8 and b takes 1/24 then
1/8+1/24)x=1
x =6 then it means both takes 6 days to work together

They will take to complete the work together in 6 days.

Given, B takes 24 days to do a job.

If A is faster than B by three times, it means A will take 3 times lesser the time B takes.

So, A takes = 24/3 = 8 days.

A's 1 day work = 1/8

B's 1 day work = 1/24

So, A and B 's combined 1 day work = (1/8) + (1/24) = 4/24 = 1/6

1/6th of the work is completed by them in 1 day

Entire work is completed by them in 6 days.
