A is thrice as good a workman than B. if A takes 60 days to complete a job, how long will it take both of them to finish the work together.

work done in 1 day by both of them  =

\frac{1}{60} + \frac{1}{180} = \frac{3 + 1}{180}

            = \frac{4}{180}

             = 1/45

therefore it will take 45 days for them to finish the work together.
