A is twice as old as B.When 6 is subtracted from B's age and 4 is added to A's age will be four times B's age. How old are they?

2A=B

4(B-6)=4+A

8A-24= 4+A

8A-A=28

7A=28

A=4

therefore age of A is 4 and age of B is 2A

that is B=14
