Age of A=x-5

Age of B=3(y-5)

=> x-5=3(y-5)

=> x-5=3y-15

=> 15-5=3y-x

=> 10=3y-2y

=> 10=y

Therefore, present age of B is 10 yrs. and present age of A is 20 yrs
