Answer:

The formula for volume of right circular cylinder is πr²h

So , new r will be r/2 and new h will be 2h

New volume = π(r/2)²2h

= πr²/4 * 2h = πr²h/2

Original = πr²h    New = πr²h/2

Therefore, the volume gets halved
