Solution:

Let the Number of green marbles be 'x'

Then, Number of blue marbles = 24-x

∴ Probability of green Marble = x/24

⟹ 2/3 = x/24 ..[from (1)]

⟹ (2*24)/3 = x

⟹ x = 16

Or, Number of green marbles = 16

∴ Number of blue marbles= 24-x = 24-16 = 8
