36*1/4=9=number of blue marble

36*4/9=16=number of Red marble

36-(16+9)

=36-25

=11=number of balls left in the jar

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

p(e) = n(e) /n(s)

probability of blue marbles is 1/4 then

p(e) = 1/4 ; n(s) = 36 n(e) =?

1/4 = n(e) / 36

n(e) = 9

therefore blue marbles are 9

probability of red marbles is 4/9 then p(e) = 4/9 ; n(s)= 36 ; n(e) =?

4/9 = n(e) /36

n(e) = 16

therefore no.of red marbles are 16

36 - 25 = 11

hence 11 marbles left in the bag
