a jar contains 54 Marbles each in which is blue green or white the probability of selecting a blue marble at random from a jar is 1/3 and the probability of selecting a green marble at random is 4/9 .how many white green and blue marble does the jar contains also find the probability of selecting white marble from a jar at random?

total no. of marbles = 54

no of blue marbles = 1/3 x 54 = 18

no of green marbles = 4/9 x 54 = 24

no of white marbles = total no of marbles - (blue + green marbles)

                                      54 - (18 + 24)

                                       54 - 42

                                         12

probability of white marbles = total no of marbles/ no of white marbles

                                              = 54/12

                                              = 9/2
