a jar contains a mixture of milk and water, where in quantity of milk was 32 litre more than that of water.if 8 litre each of milk and water is added,then the new respective ratio between quantities of milk and water becomes 13:9.what was the initial quantity of water in the jar.

Difference of ratio in milk and water 13-9=4

we say 32liter is 4

1 is equal to 8

total of mixture is (13+9)8=176 liter

initial quantity of water is 9×8=72 liter-8 litre

=64 litre
