A jar has 6 marbles, 1 blue, 1 white, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 black. If 5 marbles are removed at random, what is the probability that the green marble was removed?

If 5 marbles are removed from the bag, the probability could be that there could be a green marble or not.

The total number of outcomes is

(Blue,W,G,Y,R) , (W,G,Y,R,Black), (G,Y,R,Black,Blue),(Y,R,Black,Blue,W) , (R,Black,Blue,W,G) ,(Black,Blue,W,G,Y).

So if we observe these outcomes there is 1 Green marbke in 4 outcomes and one of the outcomes does not contain a white marble.

So the probability is 1/5 or 0.
