Given : A jogging track is 500 meters long  , jogger takes 10 minutes to complete one lap ,  other jogger takes 8 minutes

To Find :  after how many hours , will they meet at starting point

Solution:

A jogging track is 500 meters long

jogger takes 10 minutes to complete one lap

other jogger takes 8 minutes

To find time they meet again at starting point

we need to find LCM of both times

10 & 8

10 = 2 * 5

8 = 2 * 2 * 2

LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 5

= 40 Minutes

60 minutes = 1 hr

40  minutes = 40/60  = 2/3  hrs

after  2/3  hrs they will meet at starting point
