In the above question it is given that a joker's cap is in the form of a cone made of paper and the radius of the cap is 7 cm and the height is 24 cm and if 10 caps are made it is asked to find the area of the sheet and for that here is the answer:-
Radius (r) = 7 cm
Height (h) = 24 cm
Slant height (l) = ?
(l)^2 = (r)^2+(h)^2
(l)^2 = (7)^2+(24)^2
(l)^2 = 49+576
(l) = √625
l = 25 cm
Curved surface area of 1 cap = πrl
= 22/7×7×25
= 550 cm^2
Curved surface area of 10 caps
= 550×10
= 5500 cm^2
Area of paper for 10 caps
= 5500 cm^2
