given the base radius of the right circular cone is 7cm and height is 24cm.
therefore it's slant height = √ ( 7² + 24²)
= √ ( 49 + 576 )
= √625
= 25cm
we know that there is no base in a cap. so we will find only it's curved surface area.
CSA of the cone = πrl
= 22/7 × 7 × 25
= 22 × 25
= 550cm²
therefore total sheets required to make 10 such caps = 550 × 10
= 5500cm²
