A jokers cap is in the form of a circular cone with a radius 7 m and height 24m.. Find the area of the sheet to make 10 such caps?

C.S.A of 1 cap =πrl

l^2 =r^2+h^2

l^2= 7X7 +24X34

l^2=625

Therefore l=under root of 625

l=25

C.S.A.= 22/7 X 7 X25. = 550

Therefore CURVED SURFACE AREA of 1 cap = 550 m^2

Sheet required to make 10 caps is equal to

550 X 10=5500

Therefore total area required to make 10 caps is equal to 5500m^2.
