Step-by-step explanation:

let speed =x km/h

distance given = 300km

In the first case time = 300/x as time = distance/time

when speed is increased to 5 km

time = (300/x+5) -2

ATQ,

300/x - 300/x+5 =2 Or u can do it by

distance= increased speed × increased time

300= (x+5) ( (300/x+5) -2)

solve the equation for x and add 5 to get the increased speed
